A&P Canvas Tutorial (Start Here) - MUST COMPLETE

After completing all of the activities on this page you should be ready to use canvas as a wonderful tool and course space to be successful this online anatomy/physiology course.

Using the navigation dashboard on the left hand side of the screen click on your account to check your setting and make sure you have your time zone set to Pacific (Los Angeles). You can also use this to determine your notifications you would like to receive, such as having all announcements, grades, etc. sent or forwarded to your phone or email. It is a great tool to maintain active and current in your course.
Please go to How to be a Good Online Learner and make sure you are ready or know what you need to be ready to learn in this environment. If you feel like you do not have the resources to adequately complete this course, please contact me via email or my Zoom office hours. See syllabus for contact info.
Navigate to the Syllabus and thoroughly/critically read through the syllabus. This is highly important as there is important information regarding how this course works in the syllabus. If there are any questions, concerns, or confusion please post them in the syllabus discussion forum.
Go to the Introduce yourself discussion and introduce yourself to your teammates.
Navigate to the Openstax textbook and make sure you have access to the textbook content.
Although this course is online, I have designed it with the idea of still creating support and community in the online environment. I want students to be able to lean on each other as needed to learn this content and feel supported to ask questions and develop their understanding of A&P content.
Make sure you can navigate to the course modules where all of the course content will be located for the quarter. Make sure to use the instructions provided for each unit/module and use the provided resources as you complete your individual and team assignments.
